How do I connect the surface Bluetooth only keyboard that does not have a paring button.

To connect a Surface Bluetooth keyboard that does not have a pairing button, please follow these steps:

1. Turn on your Surface device and go to Settings.
2. Select Devices and then Bluetooth & other devices.
3. Turn on Bluetooth if it is not already on.
4. Press and hold the Fn key on your keyboard and then press the Bluetooth key (F12) to put the keyboard into pairing mode.
5. Your Surface device should detect the keyboard and display it in the list of available devices.
6. Select the keyboard from the list and click Pair.

I have the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The light on the keyboard for the bluetooth is not coming on and the mouse is not connecting. Batteries are fresh. Any suggestions?

it doesn't go into paring mode it just flashes red light twice and then green and then repeats

Hello, I am having the same issue but that does not put my keyboard into pairing mode. Any other suggestions? I have a Microsoft Surface keyboard (with fingerprint scanner).
