Can you use Surface Dock 2 with other laptops?

Can you use Surface Dock 2 with other laptops? I've got a Surface Pro 7 for personal use, but work has provided a traditional laptop requiring connection via USB-C. I'd like a single Dock for both computers. i.e. plug in my Surface to access dual screens, mouse, keyboard etc., unplug Surface and plug in my work laptop to access everything in the same way.
