I cant disable touchscreen on Surface Pro 7

I have tried all the different solutions I could find, and the most common answer I found was

-Going to the device manager, Human interface devices, and turning off the HID-compliant touch screen

I have even tried deleting it, but nothing has helped. I can still press on the screen.

For some reason I can't add a screenshot so I'll add a link to the screenshot file:///C:/Users/18183/OneDrive/Pictures/Screenshots/Screenshot%202023-11-16%20220335.png

    Hi Robert Harutyunyan,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you're having trouble disabling the touchscreen on your Surface Pro 7. Iam here to help and let us work on this together.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to disable the touchscreen:

    1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, and then select Device Managerin the list of results.
    2. Expand the Human Interface Devicescategory.
    3. Right-click Intel(R) Precise Touch Device, select Disable device.
    4. Right-click HID-compliant touch screen, select Disable device. If you see two HID-compliant touchscreen drivers, right-click the first, select Disable device, and then repeat the process for the second driver.

I hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

We're unable to review the screenshot you have added on the link. You can save the screenshot to your OneDrive and share us the link here. For more details on how, see Share OneDrive files and folders - Microsoft Support.

    Kind regards,
