Unable to transfer file/photos to and from iphone to surface pro

Hello,

I have an iphone and a Surface Pro. I am trying to send files from my surface pro to my iphone and I keep getting a message that says "unable to transfer". I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps like updating the hardware drive for bluetooth, pairing and connecting my iphone, etc, and it still won't work.

I also tried to send photos from my iphone to my surface pro and I don't see the bluetooth option. All I have is the airdrop option and I have the settings set to "everyone" and when I tap the airdrop button it says there is no one nearby. Am I not able to transfer anything between an iphone and a surface pro?

    Bluetooth transfer won't work. Airdrop won't work. In addition to using OneDrive, there are a few other options - How to Transfer Photos From a Computer to an iPhone (lifewire.com) has some tips.

    Airdrop doesn't really work with Windows PC's. Best option is possible Automatically save photos and videos with OneDrive on iOS - Office Support (microsoft.com)

    Thank you but this doesn't tell me how to transfer files over bluetooth.

    What about sharing files and pictures over Bluetooth? I am still having problems and have had problems ever since I got this laptop. As I stated above, I have performed all the troubleshooting steps and I still get the error message about files unable to transfer from my laptop to iphone using bluetooth.
