    Hi Dart Humeston

Thank you for your response. We are addressing the issue with installing Windows 11. The error code 0x8007007f is related to security.

Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue.

    • We will check if you already switched out from Windows 10 S-mode before we upgrade the Surface device to Windows 11 Home.
    • We need to verify if you have any third-party antivirus software installed and whether all the updates available for Windows 10 are installed. It is important to ensure that all the updates are installed.
    • We will also check if the storage of that device has enough space.
    • Once it's done try to click Windows 11 to install

However, if none of this step will help us upgrade the Surface Go2. We will manually install the Windows 11 using this link. Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com) Then click on the blue download button under Windows 11 Installation Assistant. Then after downloading, just follow the prompt.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,

    Christopher.

Thank you! I deleted some files making more room available on the drive and was able to install Windows 11. It is working great now.

    Thanks for your reply.
