    Surface Pro7+ supports M.2 2230 and 2280 SSD models.

    It supports up to 4TB Gen3 SSD or SD Card up to 1TB.

    Regarding their maximum speed, it depends on the brand and model of SSD you are using.

    Where did you get your 1TB info? I mentioned this in a reply a couple of years ago when only 1TB cards existed, before 2TB cards were available.

    It supports up to 4TB Gen3 SSD or SD Card up to 1TB.

    Surface Pro 7+ WiFi devices use MicroSDXC host controllers, these support 2TB SDXC cards.
