Laptop 5. I am sorry, I had a misunderstanding.
Is the Surface Pro 5 compatible with a 27" 5k monitor?
I am considering buying a Surface Pro 5, but I would like to know if I can use my 5k monitor with it. Can you please advise?

Most 5K monitors can be run at 4K, and 4K is what SP5 supports.
Not sure why you are considering a Surface Pro 5 from 2017 which does not support Windows 11. Did you perhaps mean a Surface LAPTOP 5 which is a completely different Surface? In case you mean LAPTOP 5, here is the info:
The above means that if you use the thunderbolt 4 port with a certified thunderbolt cable, 5K (5129 x 2880) is supported.
Please clarify if you mean Surface PRO 5 or LAPTOP 5. And the make and model of the monitor would be helpful.
