Windows 11 Touch Keyboard Won't Pop-up

I have a Surface Pro 6 which I recently updated to Windows 11 via Windows Update. Whenever I press a field that requires text input, such as a search bar, the touch keyboard won't open. The "Show the touch keyboard when there's no keyboard attached" is ticked but the keyboard still won't pop up. Even if I try to tap the touch keyboard icon at the taskbar, the keyboard still won't pop up. I've also tried restarting the device to no avail.

Please, I am asking for help since my Surface Pro 6 does not have a keyboard because the Type Cover is broken.

    You can try the following steps.

    1. Try updating the system to see if the problem is resolved. Right click Windows Key,select Set up, click Update Option，check for updates.
    2. Please try to run SFC and DISM to check for any system errors and corrupted files. After that, Restart your computer.

    Right click Windows Key,then left click the Windows Terminal (admin) option. Press Enter Key after each command:

    **Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth**

**Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth**

**Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth**

**sfc /scannow**
