If you are able to find a "Type Cover" for Surface Pro 7+ and earlier, it should work on your Surface Pro 5.

My Surface_Pro_1796 (5th generation) is still working well. However, I would like to replace the type cover. Online, I note the type cover has been out of stock for a long time now. My question whether Microsoft continue to produce/ sell type covers that are compatible with this model?
