This may connect through a Bluetooth Connection however, may not work as expected. The package of Microsoft Wireless keyboard 3000 v2 with wireless mouse are mostly compatible with desktop PCs. The wireless keyboard and mouse works with a USB transceiver with the help of drivers that needs to be installed and without the drivers the devices may not work as expected.

Before posting on the community, I did tried and asked on the Global Support Contact link as well as the get help app on windows the same but results were other options except a support team/person to chat to.

Assuming there no continue support for it hence the other options (past articles and ask community).

The keyboard and mouse only works with the USB transceiver. The USB will provide connection wirelessly to a PC/desktop. Thank you for your reply and noted. Could Microsoft Wireless keyboard 3000 v2 still work if without the USB transceiver and it’s mouse to a Laptop (Not SurfacePro) or Desktop PC? As I only have just it’s keyboard and CD software.
