Hi. I own a Microsoft Surface Laptop Go. I was using it while it was on charge. At 80%, I disconnected the charger, and the screen turned off. It is now completely unresponsive. I've used the power button for 30seconds, the power and volume up for 15, nothing works and I don't know what to do. From what I know, battery isn't the issue. Please help

    Hi galaxiee,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I regret to hear about your experience. We did not intend for this to happen, and it is not the experience we want our customers to have. Based on the description you provided, it appears that you are encountering an issue with your Surface Laptop Go. Specifically, the device charges up to 80%, but when you turn it off and try to turn it back on, it does not power on at all.

Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Connect your Surface Laptop Go to the charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes. Then try turning it on again.
    2. If the above step doesn't work, try performing a two-button shutdown. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then release it. Press and hold the power button and the volume-up button simultaneously for 15 seconds, then release both buttons. Wait for a few seconds, then press the power button to turn on your Surface Laptop Go.
    3. Try to Press the Windows logo key + CtrlShiftB. This restarts the graphics display driver. If the device was stuck on a black screen, this may resolve the issue.
    4. If the above steps don't work, try connecting your Surface Laptop Go to an external display to see if you can get any display output. If you can, it may be an issue with the internal display.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,

    Christopher.
