Hi Aly2122,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.
To connect your Surface Pro Slim Pen, you should follow these steps:
- Charge your pen: Before using it for the first time, place it in the storage tray of your Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard or your USB-C charging base for 1 second to wake it up.
- Enable Bluetooth pairing mode: Press and hold the top button of your pen for 5-7 seconds until the LED light flashes white.
- Pair your pen: Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth on your Surface. Then select Surface Slim Pen from the list to pair your pen.
If the LED light does not turn on, and the pen does not appear in the Bluetooth pairing list, there might be an issue with the pen itself. In this case, you may need to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance or consider getting a replacement if it's still under warranty. Remember, the pen needs to be charged briefly to activate it before pairing.
You can request a replacement Surface Pen. Go to Device service and repair, sign in with your Microsoft account, and select a Surface or register a new device.
I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Your Sincerely
Hahn. W - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
