Surface Management Extension

I've just opened the new Surface App on my Surface Book 2 and it has recommended i install the "Surface Management Extension".

Meanwhile i can't find information about what this is anywhere......

Does anyone have a Microsoft link or can they explain what the extension is for?

    Seems crazy there would be a recommendation to something with such little information!

    I had the same thing happen when opening the new Surface App on my Surface Go 2 😒

    If you click on the install button it will take you to the page in the Microsoft Store. It won't automatically install it. The store page gives a vague description. It doesn't describe any useful features but if you click on MORE in the description it states that the program has full access to your files and browser. My opinion, it's just more Microsoft spyware to collect your personal information.
