Which version screen do I have for surface pro 4

I need to see which version screen I need for a screen replacement on a surface pro 4. I took it to a place that can replace it but they said in order for them to see which version screen I have they need to take it off. Then I would be without a laptop for 5 days which I can not. Is there any way for me to see what screen version I have easier?

    Hi ivanbocanegra,

    Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your inquiry.   

    The Surface Pro 4 is using a Gorilla Glass 4 with PixelSense display. There's no other way to check the screen version since they are only used in warehouse for parts identification purposes only.

    Thank you for confirming, ivanbocanegra. Try using the model number of the device to search online. This can be found inside the kickstand however, there could be no guarantee that the screen version will show up. 

    For the digitizer, Microsoft only offers exchange and not repair so this information won't be available.

    Iv'e looked online and seem to run across some websites that say theres a version 1.0 and 1.1 and some other things. Is there a reason for that? 

    When replacing the glass screen, is the digitizer usually replaced as well? Or do they come as separate parts?
