    Hi Lordnhell,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. Congratulations on your new Surface Laptop 5!

We appreciate for sharing your concern to us. You can safely charge your laptop using a USB-C charger that supports Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 or higher. The recommended wattage for the charger is 65W or higher. Using a charger with a lower wattage may result in slower charging times. However, it is important to note that not all USB-C chargers are created equal, and some may not be compatible with your Surface Laptop 5. To ensure compatibility, we recommend using a Microsoft-approved charger or a charger from a reputable third-party manufacturer that is specifically designed for use with Surface devices.
