PS4 Pro to Surface pro 7.

I've tried to connect through PlayStation's Remote play app but it continues to drop the connection and jumps around from one place to another. Is it possible to connect the ps4 to my Surface vis either usb-a or usb-c. I need to plug directly into the router when an update is required as the connection I have is in the country and is very slow. I'm hoping to just use my surface as there's no TV, and having to set one up all the time is annoying. Is it as simple as an HDMI to usb-a/c adapter or is there more to it. I have a hub that connects to the surface with an HDMI port, but it must be for sending and not receiving as I can't make it work. Thanks for any help, Andrew.

    Hi, Andrew Bellamy-Smith!

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your inquiry.

I am afraid that the Surface Pro 7 cannot be used as an external monitor for your PS4 Pro. This may not be the message you wish to read, we hope to have helped you out on how this can be addressed accordingly.
