How to tell which of my Surface Pro (5) is the newest?

I have 2 Surface Pro 5's. How can I tell which one is the newest of the 2? I've already checked here, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/find-out-which-surface-model-you-have-da204261-8d26-9351-8588-5b09632c9486. However, it does not tell me dates or mention anything that I can determine which of the 2 is the newest.

Is there a way to tell?

Thanks

    Hello tdehan,

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We understand how important this information for you.

In this case, please press Windows logo key + R and type "msinfo32" and Enter. If you see Surface Pro 1796 then that means the device is the 5th generation of Surface Pro and was released in 2017. But if you see Surface Pro 1807 then it was released later and has the LTE advanced.

If this answers your question, please let our Community know by marking this post as an answer. This helps others who may have the same concern as you.

    Kind regards,

    StevenK

I am.aware that the date is not stamped on the device. I didn't ask that. Is there a way to tell from the serial number?

Thanks... however, that does not answer the question. The question was how to tell which is the newest. If they both say Surface Pro 1796 the question remains....how to tell which is the newest?

Date of manufacture is not stamped on the machines nor is it in the BIOS. There is no way to tell. The only thing you will find is the model number of the machine and version of Windows that is installed.
