If someone wants to remove/delete a background image from the choices provided in Background settings, can they do that? How?

A person wants to remove some of the backgrounds (that they dislike or never will use) from the Background settings options. Can this be done? Deleting or removing the old or unwanted backgrounds from the selection panel is the question.

    Hi @Tighe, Debra J. (Contractor)

Currently, there is no option to delete uploaded background images and/or pre-loaded images. The only available workaround so far is to access %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Uploads and then delete the file in there. We highly recommend you vote it here in Teams UserVoice. Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience, some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service. Your time, understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

Currently you can only select from the built-in images, without any customization options. Technically speaking, you can remove the corresponding pictures from the local drive, but they will be restored when the Teams client updates. So best wait for Microsoft to support this officially. There are multiple such requests over at UserVoice, you can go vote them up so they prioritize this: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public
