What would make Microsoft Rewards Support think I used a bot for browsing and restrict me?

My Microsoft Rewards were restricted because it "appears my searches were made using a bot". I have never used a bot to search, and don't even know how. This is the first time this has happened in the several years I've been doing Rewards. Is it because of the new AI Bing search engine?

Hi, I am Van. I'll be glad to assist you today.

There are a couple of possible reasons why our rewards account is being blocked or suspended.

    1. Your account has been detected as violating the Rewards terms of service. a. Using a third-party application like a VPN to access different reward markets b. Using multiple accounts when using the program on the same device c. Using tools or searching any random words or letters to earn points faster
    2. There is a glitch with the rewards program, resulting in your account being misidentified as violating the terms of service.

If your account does not violate the terms of service, it is likely that there is an issue with the program. I recommend submitting a report using the link below so that the rewards team will be aware of and address the issue.
