Hello Ang_883, My name is Indhurani, I’ll be happy to help you today.

Yes, you can buy an Xbox gift card and gift it to someone. Xbox gift cards can be purchased online or in stores and can be used to purchase Xbox digital content, such as games, apps, and more.

The process used to allow you to send the code directly to the other person, but now it seems that you can only buy a digital gift card code yourself. Once you purchase a gift card you will receive a code, which you'll have to pass on manually to your recipient, whether through email, instant messaging, or good ol' word of mouth. No matter how it arrives, they'll surely be happy to receive it.

I hope it helps you. Please let me know if you still need further assistance.

    Regards,

    Indhurani

Hello Angela, My name is Ahmed. I'd be happy to help you today.

You can only gift a code for a Gift Card :)

Buy a gift card here (from 1 till 100 USD): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/xbox-gift-car...
    * You’ll receive an email with a digital code that your gift recipient can use to buy popular games, add-ons, map packs and more.

    More detailed steps:

    > The process of buying and sending someone a digital Xbox gift card is not only quick, but also very easy. Here's what to do:

    1. Navigate to Microsoft's digital gift card portal. >> Direct Link ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/xbox-gift-card-digital-code/cfq7ttc0k63h/000C?activetab=pivot:faqtab#tab1f5b255af-9aec-4375-a92f-4349309e6c17)
    2. Select Shop digital Xbox Gift Cards on the left side of the page.

    1. Select the Add to cart button.
    2. Select Checkout in the Order Summary that appears.

The process of buying a digital gift card has changed and now it requires you to purchase the code yourself. After purchasing, you need to manually pass the code to the recipient via email, instant messaging, or word of mouth. The recipient will be happy to receive it no matter the method.

*The recipient should be informed that the funds from the digital gift card can be used to buy a variety of Xbox products including games, shows, movies, and accessories on the Xbox store.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Regards,

    Sorry for the inconvenience Ang_883!

No, Microsoft Rewards gift cards are only redeemable by the person who received the card. They cannot be gifted to someone else. The gift card would be automatically deposited into your account. There is currently no way to transfer a gift card to another account through Rewards.
