Can't redeem rewards no sms in the Philippines, need email option

Hi, I’m from the Philippines and I’ve been using Microsoft Rewards for a long time. I tried to redeem a Robux gift card, but it asks me to verify using a phone number.

The problem is: Philippine (+63) numbers don’t receive the SMS code. I’ve tried multiple numbers and waited hours, but it never works.

I contacted support and got no helpful reply they just ignored my follow-ups. I don’t want to lose the points I earned fairly just because of where I live.

Can I just use email verification please?!

Thanks for understanding.

I do not want to waste my time grinding my points for nothing.

The app was fine, but now it doesn't support Philippines country code anymore, and I cannot recieve an SMS anymore.I did redeem my reward once but now I can't.

This app is now a scam, I WASTED MANY MONTHS GRINDING POINTS FOR NOTHING. Maybe you guys should make microsoft supporting other country codes instead, I still hear people complaining about it. You should focus on that.

I already tried to contact support, but they only asked me to wait until they support the region; for how long? Maybe months and when I redeem it, they are out of stock. Can I just at least redeem my reward, please? I only need a SMS notification so that I can finally put the code in and redeem it. Just let me redeem my reward once and for all.

I understand your frustration. You're not alone.

The last time I contacted them was in March 2025. It may take months, as they rely on local laws. Some other countries are also experiencing the same issue locally.

I advise you to keep collecting points for now. You can’t redeem them without phone number verification. For now, all new accounts need to wait.

Should you need further information please let me know.

    Hi, I'm John!.

If you contacted the Rewards team via the form, they might not respond, as this is handled by a Microsoft agent via live chat since it involves your account.

I'm in the same region. You're not alone in having this issue.

If you’re getting an "We don't support that country code" error, this is because this feature has been disabled Philippine local government. Some countries also having this local restrictions.

When I contacted Microsoft Support, they explained that this decision doesn’t come directly from Microsoft and that it may take some time before the issue is resolved.

The best thing you can do right now is reach out to Microsoft Support to confirm whether your country is currently supported.

    Here’s how:

    Here is the link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact

    > Type this keyword and press Enter: Contact Support.

    > At the bottom, click "Sign in to contact support" and sign in with your personal Microsoft account, or click "Contact Support" if you're already signed in.

    > In Product and services, select "Windows".

    > In Category, select "Technical support."

    > Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

If you ever find yourself stuck in a loop, please use the keywords "Contact Support" or "Live Chat" (without the quotes) and click "Contact Support" at the bottom.

Click "Reply" below if you have any further questions.

I really hope the steps to contact Microsoft support is helpful!.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

I hear you, and I truly understand why you’re upset. You’ve spent a lot of time and effort earning those points, only to run into a roadblock that feels completely out of your control.

This forum is mainly a community space where users like you and I help each other.

That said, I will personally pass your feedback along to Microsoft.
