Completely agree. I made 2 purchases from one of the vendors that they claimed to have cash back from (about 3 months apart), and nothing. These were significant purchases too. Both together were over $1K. I was supposed to get 6% cashback so I'm out over $60. Multiple support tickets via their "didn't receive your cash back" link were all disastrous. One replied about transactions from someone else for two vendors that I hadn't even purchased from, and once I replied to say they I thought they had the wrong person, I got boilerplate replies that asked for supporting documentation. I must have sent supporting documentation 5-6 times, and it's either no reply, or I get a reply saying that it was rejected for a reason. They supply a link to a page describing the reasons, and NONE of those reasons apply to my situations.
The biggest clue that Microsoft cashback is a scam is the fact that there isn't a click through history like the other cashback sites have. There is no record of you clicking their link, on a particular date and time, that you used for your purchases as proof that you did in fact make a purchase via their portal, and if you don't get the cask back from a purchase, then you are OUT OF LUCK. You can submit support tickets to infinity and it will all just fall on deaf ears.
Microsoft cashback IS A SCAM, and either Microsoft is pocketing the money from our affiliate click throughs, or whoever the third party that they hired to run cashback, is pocketing our affiliate money. Someone should organize a class action lawsuit against them. DO NOT USE!!!
