Can I redeem my Microsoft rewards' points through my Gabb phone number?

Right now, my current phone is a Gabb phone. But when I enter in my phone number, the text message with a code never goes through. So is their a way for this to happen? Or maybe an alternative for people like me that don't have a legit phone like Apple or Samsung?

    Thank you so much! Another question, though. Say a friend or family member already uses their number for their reward redemption. Can I still use their phone number?
