Reading emails not rewarding microwards

I have not been able to earn microwards from reading emails for over a week now. I've tried it on the bing app, edge app, google app, and firefox app. I've tried restarting my phone and nothing. And my phone is an Android as required. This is the third time this has happened. The first two were for a couple of days. This time has been ongoing since June 2nd. I've now lost 3 potenial puzzle peices and all the points that come with that. I've tried putting in tickets and I'm just told to restart my phone, and make sure I'm in the United States. I've done all these. Not that the country should have ever changed to begin with. After I explain that, Microsoft closes my ticket or simply stops responding. From what I've researched, many MANY other users are having this exact same issue. Microsoft, you need to listen to your users and get this fixed. Or at least acknowledge the problem and give us an ETA on a fix instead of giving the same generic response when a ticket is put in. And don't lie and say it isn't a valid way to earn points, as I've seen you respond to other users. Earning points for reading 3 emails on an Android phone in the browser IS a way to earn points. Here is a screenshot as proof.

It started working again yesterday the 13th. According to the form I was following, it started working for lots of other people that day, too. So whatever caused the issue on Microsoft's end was resolved. However, I think for future issues, an email should be sent rewards members acknowledging the issue, instead of silence from Microsoft's end.

    Hi Elizabeth,

Hope you are doing fine. My apologies for the late response, we are currently system update. Thanks for giving the troubleshooting steps a try. It's a common issue and here are the lists that you can check if that would help.

    • Check if the task is still active – It might not be available right now.
    • Make sure you're signed into the right Microsoft account.
    • Use Outlook in a web browser (not the app), preferably Outlook.live.com.
    • Disable ad blockers or browser extensions – they may block tracking.
    • Try a different browser, like Microsoft Edge.
    • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
    • If it still doesn’t work, contact Microsoft Rewards Support.

Due to limited access, we cannot view your microsoft rewards account.

    Hope this helps,

I've tried that. I've tried everything I can think of. Reading Outlook emails still isn't registering. There are no error messages either. The emails simply don't update on the counter.

    Hello Elizabeth,

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community Forum. I understand your concern as a Microsoft customer too. And Many users have been reporting the same problem. This is probably a backend issue in Microsoft Reward's system. If you haven't tried, you can log in via the Outlook website in a mobile browser. (not in your app). If none of these works as this is a widespread issue and no official timeline as to when it will be up working, you may need to send another ticket to Microsoft Rewards Support and keep tracking the error messages you are receiving.
