Does microsoft rewards allow multiple accounts to have the same phone number for redeeming?

Hi, I'd like to know if using multiple accounts from family and friends with the same number allowed? Recently my relatives and friends experienced a suspension but wasn't clarified what brought the suspension. Sadly none of them can use Microsoft rewards as they save up many points only to be disappointed not being able to use it. Also this is the first time this has happened and I can't even contact the support team.

    Hi faf awda,

Yes, your account may get restricted. This is the same as using a VPN to bypass geo-restrictions to earn more Microsoft Rewards which is definitely not recommended.

Using the same phone number for different accounts for Microsoft Reward violates Microsoft Rewards’ terms of service. And if you get detected while completing Microsoft Reward activities, then you will get banned. Moreover, creating multiple accounts to collect more rewards faster is a big NO too.

If your account gets banned, unless you have a viable reason, your account may never get unbanned.

I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to send a reply if you need further assistance.

Hi, when you said your account gets banned and can’t be unbanned, is that your whole Microsoft account or just a Microsoft rewards account and if it’s the just Microsoft rewards account how are they not connected?

Now if I get all my accounts banned Create a new Microsoft account with the same phone number, now if I want to collect rewards without a VPN, will my account be banned?
