How do I change SafeSearch settings?

I just realized today that my SafeSearch setting is set to strict and I cannot change it. Bing says, "We've set SafeSearch to strict because your browser communicated your preference for a safe web browsing experience." I changed the PC SafeSearch settings from Moderate to Off, but it didn't do anything. I am also over 18 and I already left the Microsoft Family that I was in a week ago. Nothing that I have found on here has been able to help me so far.

    Thank you!

First, please make sure that you are not using a child account. Sign in using your personal account.

Solution 1. Turn off SafeSearch from Search Engine's Settings

Open Internet Explorer or Edge Browser and visit Bing.com.

Sign in with your personal user account, and then click on the action button on the top-right corner and click on Settings.

In the Settings men, choose SafeSearch and set SafeSearch to Off.

Let me know how it goes, thank you!

Good day! This is Rodney A. an Independent Advisor here in Microsoft Community. My goal is to resolve your issue in a timely manner.

May I know what browser are you using? Is it Edge or Chrome?

    Regards,

    Rodney

    Hi,

Please double check what account is signed in on your Edge Browser or sign in using a different account to see if there is any changes.

If issuer persist, you can contact Bing Support for this https://support.discoverbing.com/eform.aspx?pro...

Or, you can use a different browser like Chrome for example.

Let me know what works for you!
