I am curious about whether my university can actually see what I upload to Copilot or Bing Chat if I use my university Microsoft account.

Thank you.

    Hello, Emily.

If I use my personal Microsoft account but my school monitors its wifi, will the school still be able to view my copilot history?

Most likely they cannot see, but once again, not knowing your school's privacy policy and data retention policy, we are not the best to answer this question, hence it is best you find out from your school

    Hello, this is Emily.

Your school or university may have access to your Copilot content or Bing Chat if you are using your school or university Microsoft account. This is because your school or university may have administrative access to your account and can monitor your activity. It is always best to check with your school or university's IT department to understand their privacy policies and guidelines regarding the use of Microsoft products and services.

Hi Emily, thank you for replying! I don't know what can be seen on their ends, if I delete the history of Copilot on my end, can they still technically see the content?
