How do I change my search engine back to google. I cannot find anything that will help me.

ive searched on youtube and everywhere and i cannot figure out how to get my default search engine back to google. i also do not have microsoft edge downloaded so i cannot go into it and change that i literally just want google back.

    Open Google Chrome and click on the three vertical dots at the top-right corner of the screen. Choose "Settings" ; a new tab will open.

    On the left, choose "Search Engine". An option called "Search engine used in the address bar". will be shown on your screen : click on the drop-down menu and choose the search engine you want.

    Thanks. So you must be using a browser to access Bing. Is it Edge ? Chrome ? Safari ?

    You can send a screenshot of the icon, if you prefer.

    Or maybe you're using the Spotlight (search) feature of macOS ?

    What browser are you using ? You mentionned that you are not using Edge.

    Each browser has its own way of changing the default search engine. Tell me which one you're using and I'll guide you on how to change the setting.

    I didn't ask, but what kind of device are you using ? Bing is a search engine on PC (you can set it in your browser settings) but can also be an app on mobile phones.

    The method for changing the setting differs depending on the device you're using.
