Hi there,

I have setup Microsoft Family to protect my children's web browsing, but I can't block specific words searching in Bing (Edge).

Any advice? Thanks!

Frank

    Hello Frank,

You can actually block contents out of the search results using Bing's SafeSearch. Please refer to the article I have provided below for your reference:

I have also provided several articles below that you may find useful:

    Bing Webmaster Help & How-To.

The Edge browser may not have the capability to filter specific words while searching with Bing, but you can submit a request to the Bing Webmaster to remove an unwanted content on Bing search results or cache pages as they have the capability to check whether the page actually no longer contains the words that you've entered.

If you have additional questions, please let me know by replying to this thread. This way, I'll get notified and respond back to you as soon as I can.

    Hello Frank,

    Thank you for standing by.

To look for Edge browser extensions, open the Edge browser, click Settings (...), select Extensions, click Explore more extensions. You will be directed to the Microsoft Store to search for similar extensions.

If you're unable to find the extension that you're looking for, you can click Send feedback to submit your suggestions to make the Edge browser better.

If you have further concerns, please feel free to contact us back. We're happy to assist you again.
