Not earning Microsoft Rewards points via searching

I'm having a huge issue with Microsoft Rewards. While I can do my daily streak and the activities, I am unable to earn any points by searching. If I do it's rare and every hour or so. No matter what I search I cannot earn a single point. Even on the Xbox App on my Xbox One which gives you points for every third search, it gives me nothing. I can earn points via the punch card on the app, but that's about it. I've already contacted Microsoft Rewards support about this issue but their response time it incredibly slow and the most recent email which by the way went to my outlook account instead of my gmail which I requested was about my last issue which was never technically resolved and that was WEEKS ago. I've contacted them twice about this current issue and I've heard nothing back. What do I do? Am I stuck only earning points via the daily streak and activities? For now I'll keep trying and waiting to earn points but it barely works and doesn't recognize the search most of the time

    So microsoft adjusted the point values for daily tasks most are 2 points and the puzzle is now only 1 point. they also limit the searches to 20 points per 15 minutes or so i read elsewhere. also a coupe weeks ago they made it to where you had to wait a few seconds before the next search or it wouldnt give points for it, i get maybe 50 or 60 points per deay on seraching and have maybe gotten maybe 700 points this last week since theyve decided to tweak their system. i bet its microsoft trying to push people into getting their xbox credit card to get points that way; as to how the system is currently its broken! Im going to play along til i get my last reward and im probably ditching bing and edge all together.

    I agree, if microsoft does not fix the issue and go back to the old way of searching I too will be done with this. I am not going to play on my computer all day just to get my max points.

    In the past several days, I have to wait a little bit to earn on both desktop and mobile. Not every search gives me points. Sometimes I get a few searches that gives me points then other times when I search I get no points. I don't understand.

    Yes I have used different browsers but to no avail. Same thing with the mobile app, I can rarely earn points
