Hello Ben! My name is Ben as well a fellow member here in the community, not a Microsoft employee. Hope you are doing well!

To complete the "Find somewhere new to explore" Bing Rewards challenge, you can use Bing to plan a trip:

1,Open My Places in Bing Maps

2.Select New Itinerary from the Itineraries tab

    3.Choose your destination and dates

4.Add attractions, restaurants, hotels, and more to your itinerary

5.Click Find attractions to see popular things to do in your destination

6.Search for what you want to do on the map and click Add to itinerary

You can also click "Search for Directions". It should give you the points. Directions to Melbourne worked for me before and you may try this a well.

    I hope this helps!

    Regards,

What I did was searched “directions to mcdonald's” and then clicked “Directions” on the first one. It seemed to check it off after that.

    This no longer works

Opening Maps and choosing My Places, there is no Itineraries tab and no indication of setting a New Itinerary

I just searched "Bing Maps itinerary" and that gave me the 10 points. You don't really have to go do all the stuff and add a whole trip plan. Hope this helps 👍
