How does Microsoft rewards work and how to actually get free stuff from it

I've tried earning points and redeeming on sweepstakes entries but still as a result its just a loss of points , I did not win a single reward until now . I just wanted to know how this process works

    Hi Lavithiran,

    There used to be an option to transfer rewards points to a family before but this feature was removed and Microsoft has not released any statement whether it will be coming back or not.
