It barely worked on Windows 8.1 and now it doesn't function at all on Windows 10.

This is the error message:

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    The Windows 10 Technical Preview doesn't seem to include older versions of DirectX, which x360ce relies on libraries from.  Using the DirectX web installer solves the problem for me.

    Edit: Updated link.  Shouldn't be redirecting to a Windows 10 download now.  For future reference the requirement is DirectX 9 (link provides 9.29.1974)

    Thanks for the reply, but I have logitech rumblepad 2, that's why I need software like x360ce to play modern games with the controller, so we are in different situations.
