You cannot transition from Dev to Beta/Stable as that is considered downgrading given Dev will always be the latest release.

Anyone who was on the Dev Win11 had the opportunity to roll back to Win10 within 10days of install as all the previous OS are transitioned to C:\Windows.old

Despite it being 'technically' possibly as per my 2nd paragraph, the logic of the first paragraph takes precedence hence the Microsoft Mmandated 10-day limit

It has been well documented by the Windows Insider Team that besides the 10 day rule for a rollback, the only other way to leave the Dev Channel is by performing a "Clean Install" of the public version of Windows 10 by using the Media Creation tool. Shown below:

    Then
you would follow the directions below:

However, this may all change when Windows 11 Beta comes out.

    Quote from Microsoft blog:

"In preparation for releasing Windows 11 Insider Preview builds to the Beta Channel later this summer"

However, to leave the Dev Channel, in order to switch to the Beta Channel, you will have to do a "Clean Install" of the Public Version of Windows and then rejoin the Beta Insider channel.

You would use the Media Creation Tool to do the clean install:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Then you could rejoin Insiders in the Beta Channel.

Won't let me go back to Windows 10 even using an ISO. looks like I'm stuck in the Windows 11 DEV Channel for ever now.

Again, the only way out of the Dev channel is to do a clean install of Windows 10 using the Media Creation Tool. Here is how to do kit:
