Goto devices and printers in control panel, find the Bluetooth audio device and go to properties and then select the services tab. There should a check box option for audio sink, uncheck this box to fix the issue with audio devices switching between Bluetooth and native audio driver. Seems to work fine now. Hope this helps others.

    Hi Prakhar_Khare,

    Here is my Laptop information:

    1.

    Edition Windows 10 Pro

    VersionDev

    Installed on ‎05/‎07/‎21

    OS build 21376.1

ExperienceWindows 10 Feature Experience Pack 321.11803.0.3

    2. Laptop model: Dell XPS 7590

    3. Yes I've tried to connect Sony XM4 and JHW-V361. Non of it working.

Otherwise, I've tried your solution to uninstall hidden Bluetooth drivers, it's not working too

Furthermore, I've used the troubleshooting "Find and fix problems with playing sound". The result is "Audio services not responding"

Have either of you filed feedback in Feedback Hub for your issue, by chance? If so, could you share your link?

    Same issue here!!!

My situation is exactly the same with Kaizz, including the "Audio services not responding" error in the troubleshooting assistant, as well as the "Failed to play test tone" error.

Another thing I noticed is that when I connect my headset to my PC, there used to be a "hand-of" and "stereo" option for "selecting playback device" after clicking the volume button at the lower right corner and then click the upper triangle next to my device, the option is now gone and there's only my device and speaker(Realtek(R) Audio)

(my laptop is installed with Chinese only)

Hope that this issue could be taken more seriously

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing issues while using Bluetooth devices on your PC, and I certainly appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue by performing certain troubleshooting steps.

We will certainly look into this for you.

For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

    1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    2. What is the make and model of the PC?
    3. Have you tried connecting any other Bluetooth headphones to the PC?

Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

One of the things that you can try is to remove the hidden drivers for Bluetooth and then pair the headphones once again to see if it works fine.

    1. Press Windows key + R. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
    2. In Run dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
    3. Click on View and click on Show hidden devices.
    4. Go to Bluetooth and expand it.
    5. Now uninstall all the greyed out devices.
    6. Restart the PC.

Once you restart the PC, try pairing the Bluetooth device and see if you are able to use the microphone. You can refer the article Connect a Bluetooth device in Windows
