Blur effect vanishes when the window is inactive (on Windows 11)

Hi

This is a think I experienced in Windows 11. It was in Windows 10 too, but it wasn't that noticeable.

The blur background effect on Windows 11 is there only when the window is active.

When the window is inactive, the blur effect for that window vanishes.

This is for all apps that use the blur feature.

Please see my feedback: https://aka.ms/AAdnbmf

Thanks.

    Windows Terminal

Do you want to turn on the blur effect there too?

    Click on

Then click on Open JSON file

Open it with Notepad or any text editor.

Scroll down and look for defaults function.

Paste the following inside the { } brackets:

    "useAcrylic" : true,"acrylicOpacity" : 0.3

You can replace 0.3 with whatever number you want.

    Save the file.

Shall I edit the body of the discussion??

I am NOT talking about turning off the blur effects!!!

    Read it carefully.

I said If you open a window and click somewhere outside it, the blur effect goes off, which I DON'T WANT.

I want the window to be blurred until I close it.

    Did you see the screenshots?

Yes, I mean that by inactive

It's not that noticeable in Windows 10, but it is in Windows 11.

When we click somewhere else, the blur effect just goes off.

It'd be good if the effect would be there even after clicking outside the window and the window would be blur forever until we close it.

By inactive, you mean..when you click anywhere else like another app or the desktop screen? If so, it's there in Win10 Settings app and I really like it. And that feature is needed.😊
