Exit safe mode

Hello . I have a problem with exiting Safe Mode and the latest Release Preview Channel installed on my Asus Tuf A 17 laptop. Yesterday, I was doing a Driver cleanup to reinstall AMD CPU DRIVERS and it prompted me to reboot into Safe Mode.

I cannot discover any method in which to revert back into regular operating mode on the 23H2 RP Channel presently installed on my laptop.

Could anyone please advise me regarding this issue?? I can't get into Microsoft Store for reverting out of safe mode and the links shown on YouTube are confusing and often mismatch my info displayed with what is in example shown upon their own systems.

Short of reinstalling The RP Channel, I'm open for suggestions. Thank you for any cooperation and advice. Wishing everyone a pleasant day.

David Ledbetter

    Hello David,

To exit Safe Mode on your Windows 11 device, you can try the following steps:

    1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Type "msconfig" and press Enter.
    3. In the System Configuration window, click on the Boot tab.
    4. Under the Boot options section, uncheck the "Safe boot" option.
    5. Click on Apply and then OK.
    6. Restart your computer.

This should boot your computer into normal mode.

    Getting out of safe mode:

Under boot options safe boot is not checked but it still opens only in safe mode.

    Good evening Johnny,

I applied those steps as you advised and now I'm out of Safe Mode. Apparently 23H2 RP wasn't messed up as was indicated. Now to the AMD issue...

    Respectfully,

      David
