    Hi,

    Thank you for replying.

As you have mentioned that you are able to access snipping tool in the new user account, you can transfer the data from the old user account to new user account. To do this, refer the section Copy files to the new user profilefrom the article Fix a corrupted user profile in Windows.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are unable to find Snipping Tool on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.

    However, please let us know:

    1. Does this issue occur with any other application?
    2. Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?

One of the things you can do is try downloading Snipping tool from Microsoft Store and see if that helps.

If the issue persists, you can try creating a new user account and check. Refer the article Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.

Note: The above article is for Windows 10 but holds good for Windows 11.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

On the Start menu in the upper right is All apps. Click on it and you get a list of apps. Scroll down the list and you will find Snipping tool.

Get the Snip & Sketch app from the MS Store and

then hopefully it should update via the Store

    to the Snipping Tool.
