Ok so i heard that windows copilot would be available to insiders in June (This month) but i couldn't find any information about the release until yesterday where i asked bing chat and it said i released June 11. I asked if it was only one or a few of the beta channels that had access to copilot and it said yes... Only the dev channel. I then changed to the dev channel, updated my OS and saw no copilot. I then asked bing chat again if there was a way to enable copilot as a dev insider and it said i should go to Settings > Personalization > Device usage and then it said i would see the option to turn copilot on. There was in fact no option to turn copilot on (it also seems kinda weird that i have to go to personalization to turn it on.). Then i said to bing chat that it didn't work and it said that it is only in some regions that copilot is available. I then tried to set my region to US but that didn't work either. I also tried following this guide https://pureinfotech.com/enable-new-copilot-ai-windows-11/. It didn't work but now i have the copilot icon in my taskbar but it doesn't do anything else than having a cool animation when i click on it. What should i do?

FYI: you have 10 days or until the next Dev update (whichever comes first) to roll back to Beta, after that the only way out of Dev is a clean install.

There is nothing you can do - you just used a hack to enable it, which will not do anything fruitful.

We cannot provide you support for that, and especially those things which Microsoft has not officially announced yet.

Yes. I did open edge and clicked on the bing chat icon top right corner. I even did it in the canary version of edge. Didn't work. Don't know why.

    Did you do this :

Once you complete the steps, you will notice the “Copilot” button in the Taskbar, but it won’t do anything. If you want to access the Windows Copilot, you will have to open Microsoft Edge and click the “Bing” button in the top-right corner. While in the interface, you can interface with a chatbot as you would on Microsoft Edge or Bing Chat on the web.

The writer said he was successful and was in the Canary version of Edge:

Quick note: In my case, the Copilot opens successfully when using the Canary version of the browser.
