Hi James,
The fact that your phone's apps are not showing up in Phone Link is actually due to the fact that your phone doesn't support this feature. As I said in my previous reply, although you could download Phone Link apps for Android phones that meet the requirements, there are some specific features that require a supported phone model. The example I gave was the Instant Hotspot feature, and the feature you are trying to implement is actually the "Phone Screen" feature. We have a dedicated article on this feature, and as you can see it requires a supported Android device.
Setting up and using phone screen in the Phone Link app - Microsoft Support
We fully understand the inconvenience the issue has caused and that the current situation can be frustrating. However, Phone Link is still in the testing and promotion stage, and after that, the supported features for specific phones should be pushed to other models of phones, if you have any ideas and suggestions, you are welcome to provide feedback.
On your Android device:
- Open the****Link to Windows app.
- Tap Settings.
- Select the Provide Feedback option.
On your PC:
- In the Phone Link app, select Settings > Feedback & Community.
- Fill out the form with as much detail as you can provide, and then submit it.
Your understanding is highly appreciated. Please feel free to post back if you need further assistance.
