Split from this thread.

Still can't get the taskbar to be transparent using various apps.

@Dream_Weaver,

What do you mean with transparent?

Could you explain.

Like see-through using an app such as TranslucentTB which is available in the Microsoft Store.

    My preferred app TaskbarX doesn't work either. It worked for a brief period on 1 or 2 Nickel builds (don't remember which ones) but then stopped working again, the workaround was to run chkdsk c: /f

    Hi Sibro,

    Maybe your TaskbarX will work again with this 22616, since they reverted back the changes that were screwing it up. TranslucentTB now works again.

    Give it a try.

    I got it now with build 225616.1

    Thank you to all!

    Yes, it works with 22616.1, looks like they reverted back from all the problems that were created with the Tablet Taskbar Optimization.

    Here it is with Build 22616.1:

    @Dream_Weaver,

    See the official response on the TranslucentTB App page and my previous post. 😉

    It is not up to Microsoft to make TansparentTB

    work with every new Insider build.

    Contact the App developer.

    I see the feedback, but I still don't understand the purpose of a TranslucentTB. 🤣
