Hide apps from Microsoft store

Have I missed something, or has it become impossible to hide apps from store, and why? We all download apps which turns out to be something else than we thought. Sometimes I replace apps with better ones. Some apps, like “Intel graphics control panel” become irrelevant, because they have been replaced.

I have a lot of apps “ready to install”, and would like to hide them, or even better forget them.

If you agree with me, I have posted a suggestion in FBH

Before (Windows 10) I could choose to not show or hide from my Library in Mocrsoft Store downloaded apps (outside the predetermined installed with Windows) that I, for whaterver reason, uninstalled and don't use anymore; now after the updates in Windows 10 preceeding Windows 11 and now in Windows 11, I'm not allowed to hide the cluter of apps that I have downloaded, tested, found unnecesary or didn't like. That cluters the list of apps displayed in my MS Sotr library and it was a bad ide to eliminate the otion to hide them. as simple as that.

    Hi @CrazyKats

You are right. There is only one option, and that is "share". I thought it was a bug that would be fixed before official launch of Win 11. Obviously not or? I have gotten back Apps I hid in Windows 10 years ago. I have not counted, but somewhere between 100 - 150 apps are "ready to install". Some of them havent been updated since 2016. There must be a safety issue here as well? If you install those stonage apps I mean...

Apps cannot be hidden in the store. Never an option. Yet, you can uninstall apps from the start menu or settings.

That only applies to Apps you have, not Apps

listed in the Store list that you may have had at

1 time and no longer do.

Even if you uninstall an App it can still show in

    the Store list.

I just Sort by Date, so all the old ones stay out

of sight. Not ideal, but works for me.
