Why do I suddenly have to run Chromium in Windows 8 Compatibility mode?

I have used Windows since XP, so for over 20 years now I have been using the Windows OS. I adopted Windows 11, initially not as an Insider. Now I'm part of the program, but only for stable releases, so, frankly, the bugs should have been worked out for common programs.

I have used Chromium for the past 10+ years. Prior to the last update, I was able to run Chromium (stable releases, only,) in Windows 11 Insider. Now, for the past couple of releases, I cannot install, nor use, Chromium unless it's in compatibility mode for 8. (For some reason, even though I've only used 10 on this PC prior to 11, it doesn't show a 10. I don't remember 8 being on this PC when I acquired it new, but, whatever.) The point is that I shouldn't have to run the latest stable release (same as Chrome's stable release,) in compatibility mode. I didn't have to do this prior to the last Windows 11 Insider release. Is this going to be addressed going forward?

    Version 22H2 (OS Build 22622.598)

I installed Chromium just to test your issue and didn't have to run it on compatibility mode. Perhaps you are using the 32bit version in which case I presume it needs to be run that way.

I'm not using a developer build. I am using the 64-bit of the stable release. Also, the stable release is the latest Chrome build. You're using an old build.

What Insider build are you on?

Right click Start, Run, type winver and hit enter.

IDK about Chromiun but I run Chrome on all my Windows 11 builds in native mode without any problems.
