Windows 11 beta build 22621.1 fails to install via WU, error code 0xc1900101

The upgrade has failed to install multiple times.

Current version is 21H2 build 22000.675.

PC is a Dell XPS 15 9500 from 2020.

SetupDiag.exe only gives me this result: SetupDiag: processing rule: DebugSetupMemoryDump. ..DebugSetupMemoryDump - Found qualifying memory dump during setup, but the debugger binaries were not found. Either examine the memory dump here: C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Rollback\setupmem.dmp or install the debugger tools from here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/ to determine the failure.

What can I do to resolve this? The error code is very generic.

Yep it is. The culprit is Intel Display Audio driver.

@Fredrik you may uninstall Intel Display drivers and try again.

    I was hoping we could look at the dump file which may resolve the situation but there is another error I have not seen before. This may be related to a Security Database situation and I only bring it up because I have not seen it before.

    If you would like to make the setupact.log available, we may get some info from it. It is a fairly large file but you could put it on your OneDrive or other file sharing service and we could check it. It may be in a folder like C:$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther or in your C:\Windows\Panther folder. It would be in the area of 150 MBs in size and the date should coincide with the failed upgrade attempt.

    Ah yes, the OVRLibraryService is apparently the update service for the Oculus software. It's up-to-date and a repair did not solve the issue (and the same setuperr messages remain). I've installed several earlier Windows 11 insider builds with that software installed, with no issues.

    I've switched back and forth between beta ring and release preview, with both Windows 10 and 11, and no issues until this appeared. The Oculus software have always been installed.

    Any other ideas?

    You have several errors regarding OVRLibraryService so I assume you have an Oculus headset. Perhaps you could repair that install and get rid of those errors? The error log just gives the errors and not any info regarding the actual situation, so I cannot say this is what causes the failure.

    If you make the dump file mentioned available on your OneDrive or some other hosting site and give us a link, someone may be able to read it. I do not know if the symbols are available for Insider builds.
