ISO or VHDX file for Windows 10 ARM64

Hi,

I'm part of the Insider Program and I'd like to test Windows 10 ARM64 for the Macbook M1 chip with Parallels.

I can't find the right Windows 10 ARM ISO or VHDX file anywhere, only Windows 11 can be found everywhere (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewARM64).

Where can I download a Windows 10 ARM ISO or VHDX file? Can anyone send me a link? It would help a lot!

Thank you very much in advance!

Katalin

Windows 10 on ARM Insider Preview has been deprecated and the scenario you describe is not officially supported by Microsoft.

"Windows 11 on ARM Insider Preview

With Windows 11 on ARM Insider Preview builds, you can create 64-bit ARM (ARM64) VMs in Hyper-V on Windows 11 ARM-based PCs. Creating ARM64 VMs is not supported on x64 hardware.

ARM64 VMs are only supported on devices that meet the pre-requisites:

    • Windows 11 ARM-based PCs with a Microsoft SQ1, Microsoft SQ2, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx, or Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor."

Windows 11 ARM Insider Preview is not technically supported but it certainly does work using the right virtual machine (I have used both Parallels and QEMU).

I did not say that "is not technically supported", I said...

"the scenario you describe is not officially supported by Microsoft."

Using Parallels and/or QEMU might work but still, there are not officially supported scenarios.

    Edit:

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for experimentation. In fact, I run ARM64 Insider Previews on a Raspberry Pi 4B.

But this being an official MS Forum, we are not permitted to discuss unsupported scenarios in detail.
