Hello everyone!

Today, I have come up with a very weird problem. The widgets feature of windows 11 doesn't seem to be available on my PC anymore, even though it was there yesterday. Even in the settings app, the widgets toggle option isn't there.

Does anybody know what is the issue going on in my PC?

Best Regards,

Tahmeed Ahmed

Hi Tahmeed Ahmed,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. I'm Mosken, let me help you.

According to your description, I knew that you found that widgets in your Windows 11 were disappeared. Is that right?

First did you update your system before this? If so, you can try uninstalling the update, restarting the system and seeing if it works. "Win" logo key + "Q", enter "control" to open "Control Panel" (viewed by Category) > Programs > "Programs and Features" > "View installed updates", sort by date, select to uninstall recent updates, restart.

Then I suggest you confirm that the function has been turned on, as shown in the following figure.

Then you can try to reinstall the widget. Please run Command Prompt as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", enter "cmd", select "Run as administrator"), and enter the following command.

winget uninstall MicrosoftWindows.Client.WebExperience_cw5n1h2txyewy

Then restart system and enter the follow command in Command Prompt.

winget install 9MSSGKG348SP

The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, and hope that could help you a little. If the problem still exists, please provide us a full PSR from the beginning, through the whole process, and until the error message is displayed, so we can further investigate.

Best Regards,

    Hi Mosken,

I am extremely sorry, but I wanted to hit the button marked 'Yes', however, I accidentally clicked the button saying 'No'. I apologize for the mistake.

    Regards,

    Tahmeed Ahmed
