When I first boot up my computer I get a pop up AD that I do not want or need.   I can click the X and remove it,  That is not a permanent fix!

Thanks!

These steps for disk cleaning are for Windows 10. If you are using Windows 7, there is no disk cleaning option for the system.

To clear Edge's cache, follow the steps below:

Note: clearing the cache will not affect your history, favorites, etc.

    1. Click the three dots in the upper right corner, then the drop down list will appear.
    2. Click History and the drop-down list will appear, then click "Clear browsing data"
    3. The Clear browsing data menu will appear, then you can select the history time range (hour / day / all the time) if you want to delete all the cache select all the time.
    4. In the Clear browsing data menu, uncheck all options except the "Cached images and files" option.
    5. Then click on the "Clear Now" option, this will only remove the data from your cache and you will finish clearing the Edge cache.

    Have a great day!

    I did 1.

in 2. I did not see the website listed, so I did nothing!

I did check to see if Edge was updated, and it is!  So I rebooted the computer and the AD did not pop up!   Do you have a clue as to why not?   I do want to keep this post open for awhile if that is OK with you!   Is there a spell check for the post area, if so where?

    Thanks again!

    Hi James,

    Thanks for your prompt reply!

If I went to the right place, I did not find

    1. Click View advanced settings.

Did I need to look in Search settings?  I am going to do that next!!

    Thanks!
