Managing media playback issues and settings in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The Akamai Adaptive Media Player AMP v9.0.12+premier is not working in Microsoft Edge in Window 10 Pro version 20H2 OS build 19042.662. I have uninstalled Adobe Flash Player. It works fine in Google Chrome!
Can anyone help with a real fix?

Yes, I could do that, Alonso, and then spend the next three years trying to get my system back to what it was. That is, even if it can be done. Microsoft appears to have removed our ability to undo by greying it out. Your suggestion is no better than doing nothing. While I do not want to switch to the Google Chrome browser because there are things I do not like about it, it may be my only viable solution.
Microsoft dumped their Internet Explorer browser and replaced it with Microsoft Edge, a huge mistake. The truth is, attempting to train mobile phone developers to make all devices — smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. work the same is failing their customers. Tiny device developers will never understand that their teeny-tiny devices will never deliver what we have had on desktop computers. It is very sad.
Hello, rwjustus.
My name Is Alonso, I am an independent advisor.
Do you have Microsoft EDGE updated to the latest version?
Have you always had problems with your AMP in EDGE?
I await your answers, friend.

Of course, I have Microsoft Edge updated. It happens during Windows Update. I have had problems with video playback with since the Windows 10 20H2 update, maybe longer. I have reported this issue on the Feedback Hub. I have even scheduled a tier 2 support call with Microsoft Support but they stood me up and have ignored my follow-up messages about the missed tier 2 support call.
I gave up when I received this email:
