Hello, I cannot get Favicons to show in my Favourites drop-down list, but they appear in the Favourites Bar. I only have a few sites on my Favourites bar, but dozens in the drop down list. There does not seem to be any way to get the Favicons on the list..or am I being stupid?

Thanks for your help, I never use in-private but will bear it in mind.

Some icons have updated themselves, randomly, they all still appear in IE11 which is what I was I was thinking of replacing when I installed Edge It is  all such a waste of time and effort, Microsoft must have worked hard on this downgrade, for some yet-to-be revealed commercial reason. I have given up and use Chrome.

Thanks again for your advice though.

    Best wishes

    Hi amfoot,

Opening the link should update the Favicon. Isn't it the same for you?

Thanks; no, the one I downloaded last night was the latest version. I was on IE 11 /windows 8.1. A few sites were saying IE 11 no longer supported so I upgraded to Edge which doesn't seem to have the same conveniences. It's an annoyance but not the end of the world.

Just to make sure.... are you talking about the so-called "legacy" version of Edge (versions 20 - 44)?

If so, there is a free 3rd-party application called EdgeManage that can regenerate all of your missing favorite icons (plus do a lot of other things).

Hello there, thanks for answering. No, only if I add them to the Favourites toolbar.

    Regards
