Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.

I am trying to login to some .gov websites get certificate security issues with Microsoft Edge. I can access the same websites using Google Chrome, IE, and Firefox, they all give the same warning about the certificates but i can still allow the exception and access the website login. .gov websites have always had certificate issues, guessing they are issues differently then those for yahoo mail, or bank websites.
Is there any setting in Microsoft Edge that can be changed to allow me to "allow exceptions" like Chrome, IE, and Firefox allows?

Crionsynx,
This screen shot is from the legacy version of Edge. The option to "Go on to the webpage (Not recommended)" is no longer available. Do you have any tips/procedures for the updated Microsoft Edge (Version with the green and blue logo)?
Hi BrianSavo,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I'm an Independent Advisor and consumer of Microsoft products just like you. Let me help you with your concern.
You can "allow exceptions" in Edge when a warning page about security/ expired certificates appear. You have to click "Details" then click "Go on to the webpage (Not recommended)". Please see screenshot.
Or you can add the website in the Trusted sites list.
Click Start > search "Internet options" > Click or Enter
In the Security tab > click Trusted Sites > click Sites > add the website URL
Uncheck Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone. > Close > OK
